Sirena is the »heart« of the park- close to the beach, but far of any civilization. Leaving Drake Bay at 6am, you’ll reach Sirena beach after a 1 hour beautiful boat ride along the coast. Your naturalist guide takes you on a 4.5 hour hike including a lunch break. There is the possibility to view all 4 species of monkeys (Howler, Spider, Capuchin, Squirrel Monkey) as well as Coati, Great Curassow, Agouti, Sloth, Anteater, Crocodile – just to mention a few. Sirena is well known for sightings of the Baird’s Tapir and you may be lucky to view White-lipped Peccaries or a puma- all endangered species. Heading home to Drake Bay, there is always a chance to spot a Humpback whale or dolphins. You’ll return from this adventure around 2.30 pm.
